I bought these thinking they had wires to make them stiff like other wingsbut of fairy wings are much better! They engage the child's shoulders with elastic and have an elastic loop at the tips to get around their middle fingers so when they raise their arms, extend their wings and flutter can. the print is beautiful and the fabric is gauzy and lovely. my daughter is almost 7 and these fit well.

I like these better than the kind with wires-they Last longer, are easier to store, and when my littlest wore them until she fell asleep, don't worry there poking her. Lovely dress up item, I ended up with two of my 8 year old could play too with her little sister (bought these for a 4 year old, originally for a Halloween costume, but since then they have continued to use it as a toy of dressing)

This clean in a washing machine and allow them to air dry when they need to be cleaned and are still in very good shape. the elastic on your shoulders and fingers properly connected (it's really not pulled when wearing wings. slip your arms and then put their fingers in the rubber at the end of the wing). very satisfied

I had these wings to go with the dress for my daughter for her birthday tea party themed "Fancy Nancy". were a great success! We have other wings that are much bigger and make it hard to sit, and some wings around Halloween were on the smaller side without anything but the base part of the wing. these wings were the perfect size for her (a little of 5 years) and were worn comfortably seated at the tea party. There really is some spark in them, additional levels
